Jack Grealish has not been called up to the latest England squad, but Everton have sent a clear message to him over his future.
Having made the move from Manchester City over the summer, Grealish has enjoyed an impressive start to the campaign on Merseyside.
David Moyes was delighted Everton signed Grealish on a season-long loan in what was certainly a statement from
Everton have endured some struggles over recent weeks, but the 30-year-old winger has been a constant threat on the other flank to Iliman Ndiaye.
Earlier in the season, Thomas Tuchel praised Grealish’s Everton form, with the winger on the verge of doing something ‘special’ for the Blues.
Fast forward a few weeks and it is another snub being served to the Everton forward.
Everton News’ transfer correspondent Graeme Bailey has now reflected on Grealish’s situation and shed some light on his potential future at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Everton inform Jack Grealish there’s a future for him on Merseyside
Former Manchester United midfielder Nicky Butt expected Tuchel to select Grealish following his recent snubs this season.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
The latest feels like a big statement from Tuchel, with the next England fixtures now not until March, 2026.
Speaking to Everton News, Bailey has admitted this will be a blow to Grealish’s World Cup hopes, but his Everton future is as exciting as ever.
“In my opinion, if you’re not in this squad, and if you are a Grealish, who’s fully fit, playing well, if you’re not in this squad now, I think the chances of you being on that plane next year for the World Cup are quite limited,” Bailey told Everton News.
However, from an Everton perspective, Grealish has been handed some positive news.
“Everton don’t really get involved in this when they don’t need to. Everyone knows how well Grealish is playing,” he added.
“So, they’re supporting him as a person, as a player, and obviously it’s too early to be talking about Grealish’s future, but I do know that Everton have made it quite clear to Jack that if he wants a long-term Everton future, there’s a home for him at the Hill Dickinson.”
James Garner thinks Grealish is one of the Premier League’s best players in the current form he is showing on Merseyside.
The writing was probably on the wall for the 30-year-old when Tuchel snubbed him at the start of the season following his Player of the Month award.
Grealish could not have done much more to impress Thomas Tuchel
It has almost been the dream start to life on Merseyside for Grealish, with the player looking reborn under Moyes.
Alan Shearer has been so impressed with Grealish and the form he has shown in an Everton shirt.
No player in the Premier League can boast more assists than Grealish, which makes Tuchel’s decision even more baffling.
Player Assists
Jack Grealish 4
Quilindschy Hartman 4
Mohammed Kudus 4
(Six players) 3
To have provided four assists in an Everton team which has just one player boasting more than one goal in the entire season is some going.
Everton News understands that Everton will look to sign a new striker in January, and this could help boost Grealish’s numbers.
But the 30-year-old could not have done much more to showcase his return to form.
