Leeds United are reportedly battling Sunderland, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley for the signature of Coventry City’s Haji Wright.
Wright’s stock is soaring at a rapid rate and it appears inevitable Coventry may face interest in the winter window.
While Leeds have been repeatedly linked, it seems they could face competition from some of their league rivals.

Battle for Haji Wright
According to reporter Graeme Bailey, Sunderland, Wolves and Burnley are also in the hunt for the USA international.
Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Ahli are also said to be considering a move for Wright as they assess the possibility of Ivan Toney returning to England.
Bailey told Leeds United News: “The interest in Haji Wright is high and the feeling is that he could very well be on the move in January.
“Frank Lampard does not want to sell, but the player is well aware of the top-flight interest. Seemingly there is a very good chance he could move in the New Year.”
Leeds United’s forward department
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha were signed to freshen up the Leeds frontline during the summer window.
The pair have a goal each on their records, with Nmecha having converted a penalty against Everton and Calvert-Lewin having buried a header against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Joel Piroe, meanwhile, is yet to open his account in the top flight.
Wright would arguably be a coup for the Whites, although the jump from the Championship to the Premier League is a significant one to make.

Former Leeds and Coventry midfielder Gary McAllister told The Yorkshire Post: “He’s an exciting player, Haji. He’s always looking to get in behind and he’s a handful to play against. Number nines are pretty rare.
“When you’re down the pecking order and you’re shopping in the Championship, it’s not easy. It’s a big jump, we all know it’s a big jump from the Championship to the Premier League.
“But that’s the sort of guy Leeds need to be looking at. But I’d just like to see Calvert-Lewin get a ricochet and get up and running.”
