Palace face eighth-place Sheffield United on Sunday, in what will likely be a must-win game in order to keep the promotion hopes alive.
Speaking about what she expects from the Blades, Potter said: "We’re expecting a really tough test against a very resolute, high energy Sheffield United side.
"They epitomise everything you’d expect to see from a well drilled Yorkshire club! We have to match that and more."
Palace still have a number of absentees, with Molly-Mae Sharpe, Josie Green, Chloë Arthur, Lola Brown, Emma Watson and Zara Bailey not expected to return until after the November international break.
