A wide receiver’s success is very much dependent on the matchup they are faced with in the opposing team’s secondary. With that in mind, these are the wide receivers to start or bench in your Week 10 fantasy football matchups.
Week 10 Wide Receivers to Start or Bench
Start: LAR WR Davante Adams vs. SF CB Renardo Green

Adams and QB Matthew Stafford seem to really be meshing as Adams has scored five touchdowns in the last two games. Puka Nacua returned last week, but Adams still managed to catch two scores and five balls for 60 yards. The Rams are in a revenge spot after dropping the first meeting to the Niners in overtime earlier this season.
The Niners have suffered numerous season-ending injuries on defense. Robert Saleh is doing the best he can with what he has, but the Rams are operating on a championship level offensively so far this season. Stafford, Adams, and company will be difficult to stop this week.

Bench: HOU WR Nico Collins vs. JAX CB Greg Newsome II
Week 8 wide receivers to start or bench
QB C.J. Stroud suffered a concussion during last week’s game, and HC DeMeco Ryans has already ruled him out for Sunday. Davis Mills is a serviceable backup, but he does have a tendency to turn the ball over. In 26 starts, Mills has thrown 25 interceptions, which leaves more to be desired with Stroud out.
Jacksonville made a trade for Greg Newsome II to help their struggling secondary, which is giving up nearly 250 pass yards a game. Newsome has helped the secondary somewhat since joining the Jaguars, but ultimately, this comes down to who is throwing the ball to Collins. I would hesitate putting him into my lineup this week.
