The AFC East has officially become a two-team race as the New England Patriots (7-2) and Buffalo Bills (6-2) have separated themselves from the pack. Both the Miami Dolphins (2-7) and New York Jets (1-7) became sellers at the trade deadline and are pushing their chips to 2026. With that setup in mind, let’s take a look at some AFC East Bold Predictions for Week 10.

The Patriots will win their seventh-straight game this weekend

The Patriots will face arguably their toughest test of the season as they face the Buccaneers on the road this week. While that might be cause for concern, New England has been rolling to the tune of six straight wins. They’re an underdog this week, but they’ll likely get the Buccaneers without Mike Evans, Bucky Irving, and Chris Godwin. I’m going with a 27-24 Patriots win.
Drake Maye will throw for 300 yards this week
Drake Maye has thrown for the fifth-most yards in the league this year, but he’s yet to post a 300-yard passing game. That will change this week as the Buccaneers’ tough run defense will force the Patriots to pass – and New England will likely have to throw a lot in what should be a high-scoring game. Look for Maye to throw for at least 310 yards in Tampa.

Bills:
Buffalo Bills running back James Cook III has a wide open are to run the ball during first half action against the Kansas City Chiefs at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park on Nov. 2, 2025.
The Bills will beat the Dolphins by at least two scores
The Bills have looked good in their two games coming out of their bye week and will now get to face a 2-7 Dolphins team. Buffalo is a near ten-point favorite against Miami, but has averaged 34 points in their last two wins, while the Dolphins have scored just six points in two of their last three games. Look for the Bills to win by at least two touchdowns this week. I’m going with 34-17.

James Cook will go off again this week
James Cook has now rushed for 100-plus yards in six of eight games this season, and he’ll now face a Dolphins defense that has allowed the third-most rushing yards per game on the year. Cook will also likely get a game script that works in his favor and will put up at least 110 rushing yards against Miami in Week 10.

Tua Tagovailoa will throw at least two interceptions
Tua Tagovailoa has thrown a league-leading (tied with Geno Smith) 11 interceptions this season, and has thrown seven in his past four games. He’ll face a Bills team that has only intercepted four balls all season, but they’ll be able to take advantage of Tua’s carelessness with the ball and pick him off at least twice this week.
De’Von Achane will top 100 all-purpose yards this week
De’Von Achane and Jaylen Waddle have been the lone bright spots for the Dolphins this season, and Achane will get to play a Bills team that has allowed the fifth-most rushing yards per game on the season. While game flow will likely limit Achane to under 100 rushing yards, he’s been one of the best pass-catching backs in the league this year and will top 100 total yards against the Bills.
Jets:

The Jets will lose again this week
While this may not be that bold for a 1-7 team, the Jets get to play the 2-6 Cleveland Browns this week, so they at least have a chance. However, the Jets will now play without their previously best two defenders in Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams after their trades. Cleveland isn’t a good team, but they’ll still be able to handle the depleted Jets this week.
Justin Fields won’t top 100 passing yards against the Browns
Justin Fields has had multiple sub-100-yard passing games this season, and Week 10 will bring yet another. The Browns have allowed the fifth-least passing yards per game this season, and they’ll be able to feast on Fields this week. The Jets passing attack is one of the worst in the league, and they’ll struggle to top 90 passing yards this week.
