Week 10 of the 2025 NFL season is upon us. Each week, I’ll look at the AFC South matchups and give you a couple of bold predictions for those games. The Indianapolis Colts host the Atlanta Falcons this week with a chance to get back to their winning ways. The Tennessee Titans will have one of their few weeks this season without a loss, as they’re on a bye. The divisional showdown of the week will be the Jacksonville Jaguars traveling to Houston to take on the Texans.

Jonathan Taylor gets back to putting up the hat trick

Taylor has scored three touchdowns in four of his nine games this season. He’ll do so once again this week to have an average on the season of performing the hat trick in half of his games. Atlanta’s defense is the best in the NFL in passing yards per game, but ranks 23rd in rushing yards per game, as well as tied for 30th in the red zone and tied for 22nd in goal-to-go. A week after Daniel Jones turned the ball over five times, they’ll ride their MVP candidate, Taylor, to the promised land for another three-touchdown performance.
Sauce Gardner records first INT of 2025
Gardner will have a short week with the trade to the Colts and has only three interceptions in his career. However, Indy’s defense ranks 4th in rush yards per game, and Bijan Robinson for Atlanta hasn’t topped 50 rushing yards in any of his last three games. Michael Penix Jr. throws the vast majority of his passes to Drake London, Robinson, and Kyle Pitts. London has been targeted 10+ times in each of his last four games, with Robinson being targeted 8+ times in his last three with Penix Jr. If Gardner is ready, he should mirror London and have ample opportunities for his first pick of 2025.

Jacksonville Jaguars:
Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Ventrell Miller (51) is high-fived by defensive end Travon Walker (44) as defensive tackle Arik Armstead (91) looks on during the fourth quarter of an NFL football matchup, Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025, at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. The Seahawks defeated the Jaguars 20-12.
Arik Armstead records a sack and a forced fumble
Armstead recorded a half sack earlier this year when he faced the Houston Texans. This game, he’ll win against the Texans interior offensive line to get home, and he’ll also force a fumble. If C.J. Stroud isn’t cleared from the concussion protocol, Armstead may be able to get home multiple times against Davis Mills or bat a pass, as Mills has held onto the ball too long at times and stared down his target.

Jakobi Meyers leads the Jags in receiving
The Jaguars will get an instant return on their trade deadline investment, just like the Colts with Gardner. Meyers could have taken the flight back to Jacksonville with the Jags after they beat him and his former team, the Raiders, on Sunday. Meyers will be needed immediately in the showdown against the Texans and will lead Jacksonville in receiving yards. Parker Washington and Brian Thomas Jr. will be involved, but it’ll be Meyers who puts up the most production.
Houston Texans:

Texans record two interceptions
Houston is the only team in the NFL with four players who have multiple interceptions (Jalen Pitre, Derek Stingley Jr., Kamari Lassiter, and Calen Bullock). That quartet will combine for two interceptions off the Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence in this game. Lawrence has only been picked off twice in a game this season, once (WK2 @ Bengals). Houston has two dynamic pass rushers who can force QBs into bad decisions, and they have a secondary that takes advantage of those errant passes.
Dalton Schultz scores his first TD of the season
Schultz has been heavily involved in the passing attack for Houston with 5+ receptions in five of his last six games, but he hasn’t caught a touchdown pass this season. He’s only caught two touchdowns in his last 30 games, with both of those coming in December of 2024 (@ Jags / @ Chiefs). On Sunday, he’ll score a TD on the Jags for the second time in his last three matchups.
Tennessee Titans:
Tennessee Titans linebacker Cedric Gray (33) exits the field after their loss to the Los Angeles Chargers at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn., Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025.
Cedric Gray will lead the NFL in tackles for the season
Gray is coming off a game with 16 tackles, giving him 87 on the season. Only Jordyn Brooks (94) and Bobby Wagner (90) have more than him. Tennessee has a bad offense that’s 29th in time of possession and has traded away several of their best defensive players. Gray will be on the field a lot over the second half of the season and will mostly be the one getting to the ball carrier to make the tackle. After being a 4th-round pick in 2024, he’ll lead the NFL in total tackles in 2025.
Titans won’t win another game this season
Tennessee is on a bye this week as they sit at 1-8. Looking to the rest of the season, their best games in which they could look to find another win would be on the road at the Cleveland Browns (2-6) or at home versus the New Orleans Saints (1-8). They’ll fail to capitalize on either one of those games and finish the year 1-16 and receive the #1 pick overall for back-to-back years.
