Chelsea welcome struggling Wolves to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday night.
Enzo Maresca’s side defeated fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 in their last outing in the league, before being held to a 2-2 draw by Azerbaijani side Qarabag in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
At present, the Blues sit seventh in the Premier League table, although victory on Saturday could lift them as high as second if other results favour them.
In the build up to Saturday’s match at Stamford Bridge, it has emerged that the West London giants are in the running to sign a Real Madrid superstar.
According to DefensaCentral via Fichajes, Chelsea are one of a number of sides showing interest in Real winger Rodrygo.
The report claims that the La Liga leaders have reduced their asking price for the Brazilian in an effort to drum up interest.

Just over a year ago, Real Madrid were demanding a fee in the region of £80-90 million for the player, however they have now lowered that price tag to approximately £45-50 million.
Rodrygo, 24, joined Real from Santos in 2019 and has since made more than 280 appearances for the club, scoring 68 goals and providing 53 assists.
He has fallen slightly out of favour since the arrival of Xabi Alonso as head coach this summer, though, and has started just two La Liga games so far this term.
Despite interest from elsewhere and his lack of playing time, it is claimed that Rodrygo himself remains committed to Real Madrid, where he is under contract until the end of the 2027/28 season.
Chelsea are said to be monitoring the player’s situation, with the report suggesting that an offer in the region of £45 million could be accepted by the Spanish side.
Previously, Rodrygo was linked with Chelsea’s London rivals Arsenal, although the move never materialised.
