Jamie O'Hara confronts creator of viral Arsenal toilet water shot named after him

Jamie O’Hara’s Arsenal hate has got him in hot water - well to be more accurate, toilet water.

The former Tottenham midfielder and Sports Bar host has never hidden his dislike of Spurs’ north London rivals, but he could have never expected such a comeback.

Jamie O'Hara CONFRONTS creator of viral Arsenal toilet water shot that was named after him!

With Arsenal playing away at Slavia Prague in the Champions League midweek, one passionate local fan decided to get revenge in the most unusual way possible.

Rocky O'Reilly's pub in the Czech capital is run by Carlo DeVito, who remarkably went viral for inventing the ‘Jamie O’Hara shot’ which consists of toilet water.

Arsenal fans flooded the bar in order to get a picture with the menu, although unsurprisingly no one actually drank one.

talkSPORT eventually got hold of DeVito, and O’Hara jokingly took him to task.

“I should have the hump but I didn’t because I love the banter,” he began. “But you’re an absolute disgrace, it’s bang out of order.”

After explaining how crazy work had been due to the viral shot, Irishman DeVito explained how O’Hara tipped him over into making the shot.

“It wasn’t supposed to happen Jamie,” he explained. “I make these shot menus.

“I did it for West Ham fans, for Liverpool fans, and I did it for Arsenal fans this time, any clubs that come to play in Prague, it wasn’t supposed to happen.

“It was originally ten Arsenal shots and then because I listen to you guys almost every night, the moment you started to say this ‘Stoke Arsenal’, ‘Stoke Newington FC’ I was like ‘OK enough is enough'.

“The menu was printed without you, but I was like ‘no I’ve got to do something here’.”

What has Jamie O'Hara said about Arsenal?

O’Hara has been comparing the Gunners to former Premier League regulars Stoke over their reliance on set pieces, and DeVito couldn’t stomach it, much like the shot.

He’d even already tried a Tottenham alternative, but it was O’Hara’s tribute that garnered the real success.

He continued: “Coming up with the second one, the Rottingham Hotspur one, they didn’t care about that one.

“We were rammed Tuesday night with Arsenal fans and they only cared about one shot.

“The majority of them bought the first shot which was Rocky 7 for David Rocastle wearing the No.7, that was the one bought the most.

“After that, people came outside just to take selfies to see the Jamie O’Hara shot, they didn’t even come into the bar, they took selfies outside with the sign saying Jamie O’Hara.”

O’Hara then tried to get some revenge on the Gunners fan, but it quickly backfired.

The ex-Spurs man said: “Loads of them would’ve loved that shot because Arsenal have been toilet for years.”

DeVito then asked: “Where did you first train and play?”

Only for O’Hara to reply: “Arsenal,” with a laugh.

Discussing his love for the team, Irishman DeVito, who has Italian heritage, fell in love with the side in the 1970s before moving over to Prague.

“It’s been a tough time, but I am a huge Arsenal fan,” he said.

“It’s not the first time we’ve done the menu but this one was special for me because I’m a huge Arsenal fan.

“I started supporting them in 1979 during the cup final because they had a lot of Irish guys on the team. I’ve seen the good times and the bad times.

“Right now we’ve got [a replay of] Chelsea vs Spurs on, it’s 0-0 but we know what happens because the same thing happens every time.”

DeVito then paid tribute to O’Hara for taking the joke so well, and made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.

“We’ve only gone viral with two, the West Ham one and because of Jamie this one. I owe you beer!” he said.

“For Christmas markets, get yourself over here, I’m going to make a promise to you, you come to Rocky O’Reilly’s you drink for free, you eat for free… and I’m going to be the first person who officially drinks the Jamie O’Hara.”

The talkSPORT host then finished: “I’m going to remember this, I’ve never been and I’m going to come out there and make you drink it.”
