Kneeland reportedly died from a self-inflicted gunshot. Despite officers trying to stop Kneeland, he took his life. Only a few days before his death, the NFL player recorded his first touchdown against the Cardinals. It was a tragic loss to the NFL world, and Darius Slay’s wife was certainly affected by his passing.
The Cowboys took to social media to confirm the news of his passing. They offered their sympathies to his girlfriend, Catalina, and his family.
Darius Slay’s Struggles Continue To Show For The Pittsburgh Steelers
Darius Slay is not having a great run with his team, and many are speculating that his days are numbered. The Steelers have not made significant moves to bolster their roster in the offseason. Darius Slay has been inconsistent with his defense, and he doesn’t seem to be the perfect player for a starting role.

Slay showed some strong skills against the Indianapolis Colts, but it was still not enough. Injuries have been a main reason for his struggle, and things are not getting any better. The Steelers are stuck with Slay for now due to limited options.
For now, the team seems to be stuck with Slay with no proper options to replace him. Once again, injuries have been an issue with Cory Trice, who could have been a strong replacement. It’s a tough situation for the Steelers and not a good impression on Darius Slay.
Struggling to perform can reflect on his career, and he seems to be running out of time after the trade deadline. Despite so much struggle, Pittsburgh has found a way to stay on top of its division. Hopefully, Slay will pick up the pace and improve his game.
