Everton boss David Moyes could shop in the Championship once again as the January transfer window draws ever closer.
Everton backed David Moyes over the summer, but question marks surround the recent business.
Tyler Dibling is struggling for minutes, and the same goes for the likes of Adam Aznou, Merlin Rohl and Thierno Barry.
The Friedkin Group must back Moyes with more signings in January, as Everton look to progress up the Premier League table.
Moyes is interested in the Championship market, which could take him back to some of his best signings.

David Moyes could repeat Championship transfer trick at Everton
David Moyes made three outstanding signings from the Championship in his first spell in charge.
Joleon Lescott and Tim Cahill were bargain additions from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Millwall, and went on to play starring roles at Goodison Park.
Lescott went on to earn Everton major profit with his 2009 move to Manchester City, while Cahill played almost 300 games for the Toffees.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Both players proved to be great value for money, and it’s no surprise to hear that Moyes still loves the Championship market.
Moyes also oversaw John Stones’ 2013 move from Barnsley, though the Scot then became Manchester United boss just months later.
Stones, much like Lescott, starred for Everton before a big move to City.
Moyes continued this approach at West Ham United, signing a future Hammers star in Jarrod Bowen.
Shopping in the Championship has provided Moyes with key players, and given Everton a route to profit down the line – and that may be a driving force in potential 2026 moves.
Other clubs may look abroad, but the Championship market was kind to Moyes in his first spell at Everton, and he could return for more signings.
Relegated stars will also come into David Moyes’ thinking
Looking a little further down the line, Everton may also look to sign players who have dropped into the Championship.
Phil Jagielka and Andy Johnson were two superb signings for Everton after suffering relegation with Sheffield United and Crystal Palace, respectively.
We aren’t taking Everton’s Premier League status for granted here, but Moyes will be well aware of the quality players in struggling sides.
Moyes even tried to go down that route last summer, as Everton missed out on Liam Delap after Ipswich Town’s relegation.
Add in Everton’s links to Leicester City’s Abdul Fatawu, and Moyes will almost certainly look towards relegated players alongside current Championship stars.
