However, Tottenham’s Premier League form at home has been a concern among supporters. They have lost three of their first five league matches at home, and Frank’s pragmatic approach has faced criticism from some sections of the fanbase.

Thomas Frank accepted a significant challenge when he left the stability of Brentford to succeed Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham. Taking over from a manager who had just delivered Spurs’ first major trophy in 17 years was never likely to be straightforward. Yet he has exceeded expectations so far, guiding the club into strong positions in both domestic and European competition.
Sharing this view, club icon Dimitar Berbatov believes that Frank made the right decision in moving to Tottenham. Speaking to talkSPORT, Berbatov said,
“I think he’s very well respected. He was doing great things before coming to Tottenham. So, I think in a way this is how you upgrade and take the next step in the journey. I think he’s in a great place because Spurs is a great team. They have everything at their disposal.”
The ex-Spurs player added,
“Great team, great stadium, great training facilities, good players to go places. When I say ‘go places’, it means they need to build on that success they had with the trophy and they need to go the next level and find consistency.”
Berbatov believes appointing Frank was the correct decision, noting that the Dane had already proven himself at Brentford. He insists that Frank now has all the tools required to succeed at N17, from a world-class stadium to a squad capable of competing for major honours. However, he also stresses that Tottenham must now build on their Europa League success by finding greater consistency in their performances.
