Only a few athletes in the world can claim that they are on the same level as LeBron James. Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo is among those. He’s one of the greatest ever in the history of sports; his accomplishments are too numerous to list.
In a recent interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo spoke candidly about numerous topics. He addressed his longtime rivalry with Lionel Messi, his thoughts on President Donald Trump, and he even spoke about the NBA legend. And while he was complimentary, he also took a bit of a shot at the King.

During the interview, Morgan asked CR7 which modern athletes inspire him as he continues to play at the highest level. He mentioned LeBron’s longevity… and his hairline.

“I saw good examples in other sports as well, for example, in basketball, LeBron James,” Ronaldo said on Piers Morgan Uncensored. “I think we are the same age. I have more hair than him. I think it’s good because he still plays basketball and he’s in good shape.”

What James is doing at the age of 40 in the NBA is nothing short of insanity. Athletes aren’t supposed to perform at this level 22 seasons into their career. And while his hairline gave up a long time ago, the King will be happy to take the other compliments coming from a fellow legendary athlete.
