David Moyes insist he's not worried that teams might start taking notice of winger Illiman Ndiaye. So far this season the Senegalese international has got four goals in ten games.
On Monday night Ndiaye was Everton's bright spark in attack scoring a solo goal where he charged towards the Sunderland defence and glided through before curling in from the edge of the box with his weaker left foot.
The 25-year-old scored the first goal at the Hill Dickinson Stadium when Everton were victorious against Brighton & Hove Albion. Despite playing on the right due to the loan signing of Jack Grealish, Ndiaye has excelled out of position and has started gaining attention, something which isn't bothering David Moyes.
"I don't really see the speculation, probably because I'm not looking. He's got three-and-half years left on his deal here, so it's something we're fully aware off.
He's been playing really well and it'd be wrong for teams not to talk about him because of his form, but here at Everton we're building a team."
"We want to build with players like Ili, so we've got no intentions of letting him go- that's for sure."
With the form that Ndiaye is on and how he can perform something out of nothing, it's meant that minutes have been hard to come by for summer signing Tyler Dibling, who cost the Blues £35m plus £5m in add-ons.
But with Ndiaye departing the club mid-season due to the Africa Cup of Nations an opportunity does present itself for Dibling, who's only start of the season came against Crystal Palace.
Moyes admits due to the form of Ndiaye that the youngster will have to bide his time.
"At the moment he's got Ili Ndiaye and Jack Grealish in front of him, so that's probably the reason why he's finding it difficult to break into the first team.
"When I first came here Leighton Baines, John Stones, Joleon Lescott, they all had to sit and wait for the right moments to get into the team. For Tyler at the moment, he'll have to do that as well."
