A video showing a man's act of kindness has gone viral on TikTok
A woman said her "heart sank" after what she initially saw on her ring doorbell camera. After returning home, Laura Saxton had accidentally left her car boot open on the night of Friday, October 31.
But Charlie George, from St Helens, was walking back from the pub in Billinge when he noticed the car boot wide open. The 21-year-old told his friend if it was still open on their way home, he would shut it for the owners.
However, the life-long Evertonian said his friends feared the owners of the car may think he was "robbing" it. But the Toffee fan reassured them he'd tell the car's owners what he was doing on their ring doorbell camera - and that's exactly what he did.
In the short clip, Charlie can be seen walking up the drive and approaching the ring doorbell camera. He can then be heard saying: "Hello mate, I'm so sorry. I'm not robbing your car, I'm just putting your boot shut lad, so your car doesn't get robbed."
He then can be seen slowly shutting the car boot so the homeowners can see what he is doing. Charlie then approaches the camera again saying: "There you go mate, have a good weekend. Up the Toffees."
Charlie then gives a thumbs up to the camera before making his way home. Laura shared the video clip online and it has since gone viral on social media, with thousands of views on TikTok.

Laura told the ECHO her heart "sank" when she initially saw the footage on her ring doorbell camera. She said: "There was some fella at the door that I didn't know but it quickly turned to relief and then laughter when the fella skipped away and said up the Toffees.
"I posted it on TikTok never expecting it to go as far as it has. I can't believe we have had 1.5m views. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger, it’s absolutely fabulous."
However, Laura jokingly said the video was "bitter sweet" because her family are Liverpool fans. But, she said: "It's great to see two team supporters look out for one another."
People on TikTok have since described Charlie as a "top lad" and "top fella", with the video gaining more than 100,000 views.
Hundreds of comments also said "up the Toffees". One user added: "There are some good people out there. Well done."
Another added: "Bless this lad, not many decent people out there. Gives you hope." A third person said: "Class act, give that man a drink."
