The Cleveland Browns will take on the New York Jets in Week 10, giving them an opportunity to see what Dillon Gabriel has once again after a bye week.

Things haven’t been all sunshine and rainbows for Gabriel and the Browns, something the organization will eventually have to consider.
With Shedeur Sanders ready to play, if the Browns want to go that route, Gabriel will have to show that he can make improvements week in and week out. Unfortunately, the youngster hasn’t done that yet, and some believe it could only be a matter of time before the Browns decide to make a change.
"I think the Browns need to give Gabriel a little more time to come up the learning curve and develop more timing and rhythm with his skill players before they sit him down. I would think they'd want to give him at least another four games or so before seeing what Shedeur Sanders can do down the stretch if he's ready," Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com wrote.
"But Gabriel must show improvement in the passing game and put some points on the board to keep his job. … It's not fair to the defense or the rest of the team to field a quarterback who isn't getting the job done when there are alternatives."
As Cabot touched on, it’s somewhat fair to continue to give Gabriel an opportunity to play, especially when factoring in some of the below-average wide receivers the Browns have.
It isn’t exactly that he’s working with a surplus of talent, so some of the same struggles that Gabriel has could certainly be seen in Sanders if he gets the opportunity to play.
Ultimately, due to some of the Browns’ struggles to start the year, however, it might not be too surprising to see Sanders eventually get an opportunity to play.
