WASHINGTON, D.C. (WWBT) - President Donald Trump will be attending the Washington Commanders home game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon in D.C.
Mark Clouse Team President of the Washington Commanders confirmed the 45th/47th president’s attendance in a statement on Friday.
“We are honored to welcome President Trump to the game as we celebrate those who have served and continue to serve our country,” said Clouse. “The entire Commanders organization is proud to participate in the NFL’s league-wide Salute to Service initiative, recognizing the dedication and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans, active-duty service members, and their families this Sunday.”
The expectation is that President Donald Trump will sit with Commanders owner Josh Harris in his box.
The Sunday game is taking place Nov. 9 at 4:35 p.m. at Northwest Stadium and will be playing on FOX or where ever you stream sports.
