Liverpool great and former Newcastle United manager Sir Kenny Dalglish has insisted Alexander Isak will come good at Anfield.
Isak joined Liverpool from the Magpies on transfer deadline day for a British record transfer fee of £125million. It brought to an end a long-running saga that had seen Isak effectively down tools and go on strike at Newcastle in order to try and force through a move.
But he has struggled to get up to match speed and has scored just once for the Reds - in a Carabao Cup win over Championship strugglers Southampton - and is yet to find the back of the net in the Premier League or Champions League this season.

Isak has missed the last four matches through injury, too, and the jury is out over whether he will be able to make a success of his move to Anfield over a difficult start.
However, former Liverpool manager and player, Dalglish, offered a spiky response when asked if Isak, as well as fellow summer signings Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez, will come good on Merseyside.
"Listen, they'll all be good enough," Dalglish told SportsBoom.
"Give them time to settle down. When you started in your job, did you have a tough start at the beginning? Just give them time.
"But they're going through a spell at the moment. They’re not winning as often as you like to win. But if you have so many new players bedding in, then that takes a wee bit of time."
