Which New York Jets’ quarterback will start versus the Browns on Sunday?

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The New York Jets feature two quarterbacks on their roster: Justin Fields and Tyrod Taylor.

However, we’re two days away from them hosting the Cleveland Browns, and there’s no official word to who will start Sunday.

On Friday, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn took questions during media availability and wouldn’t specify who he’d name the starter ahead of Week 10.

“We’ll have a quarterback,” Glenn said.

When asked if he’d like to get to a point in the season where he can fully trust Fields or Taylor, and ride out with either of them, Glenn stated his lack of worry for things of that nature.

“The thing is I don’t worry about those things,“ Glenn said. “Our guys know who’s going to be the quarterback. I know who’s going to be the quarterback. It’s just not my responsibility to have to tell you that.”

Fields has started in seven of the Jets’ eight games and has completed 64.1% of his passes for 1,089 yards, five touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

Fields was also the starter in their Week 9 comeback win over Cincinnati, giving them their first and only win so far this season.

Taylor has made three appearances and one start during Week 3 when Fields was out with a concussion.

He’s completed 62.3% of his passes for 379 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions.
