Como defender Jacobo Ramon’s performances this season have made Real Madrid keep a close eye on his development, according to a report from AS on Friday.
Ramon has become a starter for Como under Cesc Fabregas through some really good performances on a consistent basis.
Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso is delighted with him, and the club will continue to monitor his development as a football player in the present and future.
David Alaba and Antonio Rüdiger are out of contract at the end of the season, and both Ramon and Joan Martinez are quickly emerging as candidates to make the jump to Real Madrid’s first team.
It remains to be seen whether Ramon actually returns to Real Madrid next season, but he has chosen a good project under Fabregas, and at a place where his former Castilla teammate, Nico Paz, is already performing at the top of his abilities.
