Every week before the slate of college football games, we will highlight several prospects per matchup who should be sought after in the 2026 NFL Draft. Specifically, we’ll examine how the Pittsburgh Steelers may view them.
NO. 8 BYU AT NO. 9 TEXAS TECH 12 PM/EST ABC
The BYU Cougars and the Texas Tech Red Raiders face off in a battle to take the top spot in the Big 12 Conference. For BYU, keep an eye on WR No. 2 Chase Roberts, who is having a solid season as a senior. The 6-4, 210-pound wideout has 32 receptions for 591 yards and four touchdowns on the year, being a big possession receiver and reliable red zone threat that is looking like a Day 3 pick next spring.
For Texas Tech, be sure to watch DL No. 2 Lee Hunter, who is a big body in the middle for the Red Raiders defense. The 6-4, 325-pound Hunter is a force that is difficult to run against as he eats up blockers inside, having good play strength. The UCF grad is a better run stopper than pass rusher, but has some juice in that department with 1.5 sacks this season and 6.5 in his career.
NO. 3 TEXAS A&M AT NO. 19 MISSOURI 3:30 PM/EST ABC
The Texas A&M Aggies look to stay undefeated against the Missouri Tigers on the road Saturday afternoon. For the Aggies, be sure to watch LG No. 71 Chase Bisontis, who is one of the better interior blockers in this draft class. The 6-5, 315-pound junior has the athleticism of an offensive tackle inside and has great hand usage in pass protection while having the demeanor you look for in the run game. It all makes him a sound blocker who could be drafted in the top three rounds come this spring.
For Missouri, keep an eye on EDGE No. 9 Zion Young, who is having a strong season thus far, posting five sacks and two forced fumbles. He has the speed to work around the edge as well as the length and size to properly set the edge against the run (6-5, 262 pounds). They will look to get to QB Marcel Reed and put pressure on the passer to try and get the upset at home.
FLORIDA STATE AT CLEMSON 7 PM/EST ACC NETWORK
The Florida State Seminoles and the Clemson Tigers face off in Death Valley Saturday night. For the Seminoles, the name to watch is WR No. 0 Duce Robinson, who is a monster on the outside for Florida State. He stands 6-6, 222 pounds and is a legit threat down the field as well as in the red zone, having 34 receptions for 689 yards and four touchdowns on the season. His height, length and speed make him difficult for most corners to cover and a prospect to know, should he declare.
For the Tigers, they have their own star pass catcher in WR No. 0 Antonio Williams, who has battled through injuries this season, limiting him to just 33 receptions for 367 yards and three total touchdowns. Williams is a good athlete who generates plenty of separation as a route runner, but also is dangerous with the ball in his hands, making him an intriguing option, should he declare early this spring.
LSU AT NO. 4 ALABAMA 7:30 PM/EST ABC
The LSU Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide face off in an annual classic in primetime. For the Tigers, be sure to watch S No. 13 A.J. Haulcy, who is a bit of a linebacker/safety hybrid, having the size (6-0, 222 pounds) as well as the athleticism and speed to be an asset in pursuit as well as in coverage. He has 64 total stops, three pass deflections, and two picks on the year, being a name to keep an eye on in this safety class.
For Alabama, the name to watch is QB No. 15 Ty Simpson, who has been on a tear this season, playing himself into the draft conversation after being an afterthought entering the season. Simpson has thrown for 2,180 yards with 20 touchdowns to just one interception while completing 67.8 percent of his pass attempts, being an efficient passer who can tear apart the opposing defense with his accuracy and decision making.
