The Indiana Pacers may be gaining at least one player off their long injury list tomorrow against the Denver Nuggets. Andrew Nembhard is listed as questionable for tomorrow night with his shoulder strain suffered in the season opener.

After missing the last seven games, it looks like Nembhard will return at some point during this West Coast road trip that starts with a back to back against Denver and Golden State.

The updates previously for the other seven members of the team were out against the Nets were not as promising. Both Quenton Jackson and Johnny Furphy are out for the road trip and then some time beyond that. Obi Toppin is out until February. Bennedict Mathurin has no definitive timetable at the moment beyond week to week. An update on T.J. McConnell should be coming soon as it’ll be one month since his injury. It’s unclear how long rookie Kam Jones will be out and of course Tyrese Haliburton will be out for the entire season.

The Pacers also added more veteran point guard depth by waiving Mac McClung after he was a DNP-CD against the Nets and signing Monte Morris. Morris was originally going to join the team before training camp but was dealing with a calf strain. Now he continues to the long running pipeline between Iowa State and the Pacers, following in the footsteps of Fred Hoiberg, Jamaal Tinsley, Georges Niang, Naz Mitrou-Long, and Tyrese Haliburton.

If the injuries continue, they may have to look hard at a certain Pacers legend for their next hardship 10-day contract. Reggie Miller was asking for one while shooting in the Hali 1s.
