Depot After Dark: Cowher Reunion, Steelers Enhance Stadium Hygiene, NBA Star Wants Prescott In…

A Steelers Depot daily segment. A quick hit of some Pittsburgh Steelers-related stories that may not require a complete article but nuggets worth mentioning and passing on to you guys.

Your Depot After Dark for Nov. 7.

COWHER REUNION

The Steelers celebrated the anniversary of their win in Super Bowl 40 last week. They invited members of that team to their game against the Indianapolis Colts. Fortunately, the Steelers pulled out a win in front of them, defeating the Colts. While their defense had been struggling, that unit played better with the 2005 team watching.

Bill Cowher took to Twitter to share some pictures from that weekend’s festivities. It includes a group photo of everyone from that 2005 team who was in attendance. Cowher also took a picture with Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers and Mike Tomlin. It’s a fun look at the Steelers’ past and present at head coach and quarterback. Hopefully, they can recreate that picture when they’re in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

What a weekend in Pittsburgh celebrating the 2005 Championship Team! It was great to have family there and spend time with a very SPECIAL team. Our journey that year was historic, we relived memories and experienced a bond that will connect us forever. Love you guys! pic.twitter.com/4l2IRt897T

STEELERS ENHANCE STADIUM HYGIENE

The Steelers went from Three Rivers Stadium to Heinz Field in 2001. While it’s called Acrisure Stadium now, it’s still very similar to how it was when it originally opened. However, the Steelers aren’t afraid to make changes.

WPXI posted on Twitter that the Steelers have partnered with Kimberly-Clark Professional. The aim of that union is to enhance Acrisure Stadium with better hygiene products. Considering how many people attend Steelers games, it’s a good idea. Hopefully, this helps make game day experiences better.

NBA STAR WANTS PRESCOTT IN PITTSBURGH

The quarterback position has been an issue for the Steelers for several years. Ben Roethlisberger gave them consistency there for almost 20 years. However, they’ve struggled to find his replacement. Aaron Rodgers has been good for them this year, but he’s 41 years old. He could retire after this year.

NBA star Draymond Green wants Dak Prescott to get to Pittsburgh, though. He made the suggestion on a recent episode of his podcast with Jordan Schultz. Prescott is having a good season with Dallas Cowboys, and he’s got several years left on his contract. It seems unlikely that the Cowboys will move on from Prescott, but if they do, perhaps the Steelers will have interest.
