[Liverpool](https://walkon.com/) will face Manchester City on Sunday in the Premier League, and while this rivalry matchup doesn’t carry quite the same cachet as it did a few years ago when the two were more direct title rivals, that shouldn’t really be the case on Sunday.
Whereas Man City were way behind Liverpool in the table last season, they are actually one point ahead of the Reds in second compared to third, though both are more than five points behind league leaders Arsenal.
A lot is on the line for Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, but they’ll have to get the win without their starting right back. Once again, Dutchman Jeremie Frimpong has been ruled out of an important game with an injury.
Liverpool manager Arne Slot told reporters at the press conference before the big game that Frimpong won’t be back for the team until after the November international break, “I don’t expect Jeremie Frimpong back against Nottingham Forest after the international break.”
Liverpool will face Nottingham Forest on Nov. 22 after the break. Frimpong has been out for the Reds since late October with a hamstring injury, which was an aggravation from a hamstring issue that cost him the first few games of the campaign, too.
