Mohammed Kudus might not feature in Tottenham Hotspur’s clash against Manchester United
Tottenham are set to face Manchester United in the Premier League at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tomorrow. Spurs hope to get back to winning ways and potentially get back into the top four after suffering a disappointing loss against Chelsea last weekend. They cruised to a 4-0 win over Copenhagen in the Champions League midweek and will look to carry that momentum into the Premier League.
Spurs have been plagued by injuries this season. To make things worse, new signing Mohammed Kudus picked up a knock against Chelsea, which ruled him out for the Copenhagen game. It has been reported that Kudus has recovered well from his injury and could feature against the Red Devils. However, according to TBR Sport, the 25-year-old was not pictured during Tottenham’s training session ahead of tomorrow’s game, raising concerns among fans about his fitness.
Kudus has been one of the Lilywhites’ best performers this season, featuring regularly in the Premier League. His absence could be a major worry for Spurs, who hope to extend their unbeaten run against Manchester United. Brennan Johnson replaced him in the Champions League clash and also scored a goal. The Welshman could start tomorrow’s fixture as well if Kudus is not up to the task.

Other attackers, including Dominic Solanke, Dejan Kulusevski, and James Maddison, are also sidelined with injuries, limiting rotation options and complicating Thomas Frank’s selection process.
Tottenham signed Kudus from West Ham this year for £55 million on a six-year deal. The Ghanian has featured in 15 matches this season, scoring one goal and providing five assists. His pace, dribbling skills, and work rate, combined with his eye for goal, have made him a nightmare for opponent defenders to deal with.
Xavi Simons to shine against Manchester United?
With Kudus a doubt for tomorrow’s clash, Xavi Simons could play a significant role in Tottenham’s attack. The 22-year-old has struggled to find his form in the Spurs shirt since signing for them this season. However, he put on a great performance against Copenhagen. Simons registered an assist with an excellent pass that set Brennan Johnson through on goal in the first half. He created three big chances in the first half alone, which is the most by a Spurs player in the UCL since the 2016-17 season.

Simons is very likely to start the game tomorrow. He could win the trust of Thomas Frank and the fans if he impresses in a second consecutive game.
