Neto joined the Blues from Molineux in the summer of 2024, and has spent the early part of this season showing his former club what they’re missing after he parted ways.

Joe Cole has described Neto as Chelsea’s unsung hero, and there is a clear reason why his manager has frequently named him in the starting side ahead of Estevao Willian.

The Portuguese winger missed the Champions League game against Qarabag due to injury, however Maresca hinted Neto could be available to face Wolves.

In the final training session before Saturday’s game, pictures on the Chelsea website have shown the winger training alongside his first team colleagues.

Neto has appeared in all 10 of Chelsea’s Premier League games so far this season, and is holding off the challenge of the new wingers the club signed over the summer.

Both Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens have struggled to nail down starting places in the side under Maresca, however the Englishman can take solace from his performance against the same opposition in the League Cup.

If Neto is fit, it is fair to expect that he will feature in some capacity, and keep up his impressive fitness record that had abandoned him before he made the move to West London.

Neto missed more than 100 games during his spell at Wolves, however seems to have had a far luckier time of things at Maresca’s benefit.

He will be hungry to take to the pitch on Saturday night, however we are predicting Estevao Willian will start on the right after his excellent performance against Qarabag.
