Saquon Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a bye and look to score their third win in a row when they step on Lambeau Field this Monday against the Green Bay Packers.
This is also a rematch of last season’s NFC Wild Card Round matchup, which the Eagles won, 22-10, in Philly. Before that, Philadelphia defeated Green Bay in Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season in Brazil.
This time around, the action will be at Lambeau Field, giving Barkley his first chance to see action in an NFL game at Green Bay’s storied home field.

On Friday, Barkley shared how special it is for him to get the opportunity to finally play at Lambeau Field for the first time since he entered the league in 2018 as the second-overall pick in that year’s NFL Draft by the New York Giants.

Saquon Barkley is playing in Lambeau Field for the first time in his career.
“I’m excited for the environment and as a fan of football, the history of it,” Barkley said. “I’m not getting goosebumps to play at Lambeau Field, but as a fan of the game, it’ll definitely be cool. For me, I think I have one or two more stadiums I’ve never played in as an NFL guy. So I get to knock that off the list.”
Barkley can be expected to be a handful for Green Bay’s defense. He has 519 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 127 carries through eight games this season. In the playoff game against the Packers, the former Penn State Nittany Lions star had 118 rushing yards on 17 carries.
And in his debut for the Eagles in 2024, he burned rubber for 109 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries while scoring a touchdown reception to add to his incredible introduction in Philly uniform.
