Raheem Sterling has posted an update on social media amid his continued exile from the Chelsea first team squad.
The England international, along with Axel Disasi are the only two players in the infamous “bomb squad,” and are currently training separately from the first team.
Sterling hasn’t played a competitive game since returning from a disappointing loan spell at Arsenal last season, where he scored once in 28 appearances.

Sterling was available all summer, but for one reason or another he failed to secure a move away from Stamford Bridge.
It’s believed up to five clubs showed interest in Sterling, but his preference to remain in London made a move difficult.

Chelsea are reportedly working on moves for both Sterling and Disasi in January, but how likely that will be remains to be seen.
The door isn’t open for a return, and Sterling has been keeping himself busy off the pitch as he took to social media to share an update.
He took to Instagram and posted a video of him coaching with the caption:
“Repetitions on Left Foot Finishing. Every Detail Matters.”
The 30-year-old joined Chelsea for £50m from Manchester City in the summer of 2022, and has made 81 appearances for the Blues, scoring 19 goals and registering 15 assists.

Chelsea came under fire and faced criticism for their treatment of both Sterling and Disasi, but it’s something Maresca was sympathetic about.
