Peter Crouch praises Andy Robertson
However, when speaking on the That Peter Crouch Podcast this week, the ex-Liverpool and Tottenham centre-forward actually named one player who has improved since last season.
When discussing his former team’s recent resurgence, Crouch praised Andy Robertson, stating that he is back stronger.
He said: “I also think Robertson coming back was a big. And I actually think the two best full-backs at the moment are Conor Bradley and Andy Robertson.
“I think they’ll, Frimpong and Kerkez, will be great players, but at the moment, hasn’t been.

“I definitely think it was a lot more, it was a lot calmer with Andy Robertson. I thought he played really well, and yeah, he had a difficult season last year, but I think he’s back stronger.”
Crouch claimed the Scotsman is Liverpool’s best left-back right now, but Milos Kerkez may well feature in the Manchester City fixture on Sunday.

Robertson has started Liverpool’s last three matches across all competitions, helping pick up two wins in the process.
However, Slot provided a team news update ahead of this Sunday’s clash with the Sky Blues and was asked about the left-back.
The Dutchman mentioned his recent workload and did not confirm if he’d be fit to start against Pep Guardiola’s men.
On Friday, he said: “Robbo started three games in seven days as he started against Crystal Palace.
“I had to take him off towards the end [versus Real Madrid]. I felt he was tired but we will wait to see where he is today.”
Kerkez has struggled at Liverpool so far, with Alan Pardew claiming he has been ‘found out a little bit defensively’.
