Packers’ Jaydeen Reed takes in different sport amid injury absence

The Green Bay Packers are still missing the services of wide receiver Jayden Reed, who remains sidelined after going under the knife to address the injuries to his shoulder and foot following a 27-18 Week 2 win over the Washington Commanders at Lambeau Field.

Still on the injured reserve, it remains uncertain when exactly Reed will be able to make his return to action. In the two games he played with the Packers in 2025, he has recorded 45 receiving yards on three receptions and five targets. One of his catches was for a touchdown in Week 1’s 27-13 home win against the visiting Detroit Lions.

And just because he’s unable to play doesn’t mean that the former Michigan State Spartans star wideout has been away from the public eye.

In fact, Reed, who led Green Bay with 857 receiving yards in the 2024 NFL season, was out on Friday night, enjoying some NBA Cup Group Play action between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Chicago Bulls at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

The 25-year-old wideout even got a shoutout from the Bucks’ social media team.

“Happy to have Packers WR Jayden Reed in the house! #GoPackGo,” read the Milwaukee’s post on X.

Reed was surely not disappointed by the Bucks’ performance, as Giannis Antetokounmpo and company crushed the Bulls, 126-110.

Antetokounmpo dropped 41 points to go with 15 rebounds and nine assists, two steals and two blocks, while Myles Turner had 23 points and five 3-pointers.

This coming Monday, Reed can cheer on Jordan Love and company, who are about to host the reigning Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles at Lambeau Field.
