England U17s bounced back from their rough defeat in the opening game with a very impressive performance to beat Haiti in their second World Cup, and Chelsea’s representatives stepped up with big displays.
The Young Lions won 8-1 to get themselves back on track after a heavy loss to Venezuela, and after starting on the bench last time there was a first start of the tournament for Reggie Walsh.
Walsh has impressed the likes of John Terry with his development at Chelsea, with him now at the point where he is a genuine option for Enzo Maresca for the first team.
Chelsea have reason to be annoyed Walsh was called up in the first place, however will have been delighted to see him find the net in Friday’s game.

Chelsea youngsters star for England in huge U17 World Cup win
Despite him being the biggest name from Cobham who is on display for their nation at the World Cup, however Chizaram Ezenwata is also looking to make his mark after appearing in both games.
The youngster came off the bench against Haiti, and scored three goals in a 22 minute spell to put the finishing touches on their big win.
Ezenwata had a run of eight goals in as many games for the Under 18s earlier this season, and is surely one of those knocking on the door of the first team.
England will need at least a point in their final group game against Egypt to book their place in the knockout stages, and both of their Chelsea representatives have made the case to start in the crucial match.

Chelsea scouting heavily at the Under 17 World Cup
BlueCo have sent scouts to the Under 17 World Cup in an attempt to beat the elite sides to the signatures of the best young prospects in football.
Chelsea are scouting Burkina Faso’s Loukman Tapsoba, and will be keeping their eyes on a number of the best young talents at the competition.
Very fitting of the club’s regime, Tapsoba is one of the youngest players at the competition, however he started and performed well in their first game of the competition.
