We have picked out five league games where they treated their fans to five goals or more.
First was a result which kick-started one of their better seasons as they reached the Championship play-offs in 2012-13.
They thumped Barnsley 5-1 early in the season with two goals for Ashley Barnes.
Wayne Bridge, one of the eye-catching signings that summer, was also on target and there was then a Craig Mackail-Smith double.

Two former Albion player had roles for Barnsley. Craig Davies thumped home their goal from a penalty.
And David Gonzalez, a Colombian goalkeeper who had been with the Seagulls briefly the previous season, was between the posts for the visitors.
Gonzalez is now head coach at America de Cali in the Colombian top flight.
Albion flattered to deceive at times that season, dropping valuable points at the Amex.
But all came good on a glorious spring afternoon going into the run-in as they thumped Paul Ince's Blackpool 6-1.
Will Buckley set things rolling with a superb curler and there was an exquisite finish by Andrea Orlandi after a David Lopez flick.
David also scored, there was a very popular goal by Matt Upson and Barnes added a double.
Albion even scored Blackpool's reply for them through Dean Hammond, to the amusement of home fans.
Two matches we mentioned last week in our collection of Albion hat-tricks also feature in the list.

Fulham were thrashed 5-0 late in 2015-16 thanks to a Tomer Hemed treble, Bruno and Anthony Knockaert.
And a Glenn Murray treble was part of the following season’s 5-0 blitz against Norwich as Lewis Dunk and Knockaert also netted and Jiri Skalak had three assists.

Into the top flight and the biggest home win many of us have seen – by 6-0 over Wolves in 2022-23.
That was after the Seagulls had lost 3-1 at Nottingham Forest in midweek and then made changes with Alexis Mac Allistyer, Moises Caicedo and Kaoru Mitoma on the bench.

Paul Merson famously told Sky Sports viewers he thought Roberto De Zerbi had given up on qualifying for Europe.
His side duly went out and hit a half-dozen with two goals each for Deniz Undav, Danny Welbeck and Pascal Gross.
Albion also had a 5-0 in the FA Cup that season, against lower-division Grimsby.
