NFL bold predictions: AFC North Week 10

Week 10 in the AFC North is shaping up to be full of chaos, drama, and statement games. Every team is fighting for position in what might be the most fun division in football, and surprises are bound to happen. Here are some bold predictions that could shake up the standings and spark new storylines heading into the second half of the season.

Improve on team chemistry

After this past game against the Bears, Chase Brown’s comments definitely did not go over well for the defense. No matter what reports say that has to sting for the defense to hear, I have no idea how they can mend that but they have to if they want any chance at Joe Burrow returning to a competitive situation.

Anything to help on defense

The Bengals biggest problem this season has glaringly been the defense; they struggle to stop anyone for the whole game, and the offense has to make up for it. The Bengals have to do whatever they can to get stops in crucial moments, whether that is changing schemes or moving players around the depth chart.

Dillon Gabriel throws for 2+ TDs and no turnovers

The Jets defense has been very underwhelming this season, and after trading their two best defenders, it will not get any better. The Browns are coming off a bye wee,k and they are ready to go and make a statement that they can be competitive.

The Browns force 3+ turnovers

The Jets defense has been bad, but the offense has been right there with it. The Browns have one of the NFL’s top defensive fronts, so it will be no easy task for the Jets. I am expecting the Browns to fluster Justin Fields and shake up the offense quite a bit from the start of the game.

Baltimore Ravens:

The Ravens win by 15+

The Ravens looked dominant in their win over the Dolphins, and they probably are not going to slow down. Lamar Jackson being back and the defense seemingly stepping up make the Ravens one of the scariest teams to go against from top to bottom. It is just a bad matchup for the Vikings.

Derrick Henry has over 150 total yards

One of those bad matchups for the Vikings is Derrick Henry. The Vikings struggle to stop the run, and Derrick Henry is going to be a menace on the field. The Ravens hit their stride last game in the run game and will build on top of it because they are at their best when the run game gets what it wants.

Pittsburgh Steelers:

DK Metcalf goes for 100+ and a TD

The Chargers have a really good defense, but DK Metcalf has been fairly quiet the past few games, and he has the ability to beat anyone. Rodgers will probably lean on Metcalf, especially since the Steelers are in a very important game against the Chargers, Rodgers will want to be comfortable when passing the ball.

TJ Watt gets 2+ sacks

TJ Watt has his best games on the biggest of stages, and with the injuries to the Chargers tackles, TJ Watt and the Steelers pass rush will have an opportunity to eat all game. In a very important game, TJ Watt will be doing everything in his power to get the Steelers out with a win.
