David Moyes has commented on the future of 25-year-old Senegalese international Iliman Ndiaye amid mounting speculation surrounding his future.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Fulham, as relayed by Sky Sports, David Moyes commented on the speculation surrounding the long-term future of Iliman Ndiaye. The Everton manager insisted that the Toffees have “no intention” of letting the Senegalese international leave anytime soon.
The Everton boss said, “I don’t really see the speculation because I’m not looking probably. I think he’s got a three-and-a-half year deal here, maybe more, so it’s something we’re fully aware of and he’s playing really well.”
“It would be wrong for teams not to talk about him because of his form. Here at Everton we’re building a team and we want to build with players like Ili, so we’ve no intention of letting him go, that’s for sure.”
Iliman Ndiaye has established himself as one of the most dependable attackers in the Premier League since joining Everton from Marseille in July 2024. While the versatile 25-year-old attacker took some time to become an undisputed first-choice starter for the Merseyside club, he has not looked back in the last 12 months. So, after an unconvincing spell with Sheffield United, he has finally made his mark in the Premier League.
The Senegalese international has been hot off the blocks in the 2025/26 season, amassing four goals and one assist in ten Premier League outings thus far. Meanwhile, Ndiaye’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs. Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are among the prospective suitors vying for his signature.
The widespread interest in his services makes sense, as the Rouen-born attacker has established himself as one of the best attackers in the Premier League this season. With Ndiaye approaching his peak years, he should become an asset for whichever club can land him in the coming years.
However, with Moyes insisting that Everton will not part ways with the 25-year-old Senegalese international anytime soon, a summer move may not materialise. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Ndiaye.
