The organisers of today's anti-board protest have claimed that up to 10,000 supporters joined this lunchtime's march in protest against chairman David Sullivan and vice chair Karren Brady.

Hammers United, who organised today's march are confident they have fulfilled their target of luring 10,000 supporters onto the streets this morning ahead of West Ham's Premier League encounter with Burnley.

And group chair Paul Colbourne, addressing the crowd outside the London Olympic Stadium a few minutes ago suggested today's demonstration was the beginning of the end for the unpopular duo.

"[Karren] Brady and [David] Sullivan have wrecked the heart and soul of our club, but we've showed the world that thousands do care," Colbourne said as he addressed the masses.

"West Ham is for us, the supporters and the community - not for two individuals clinging to power after years of failure."

Also speaking at the event, who took place on Saturday lunchtime were supporter and author Bill Gardner plus Jeff 'Stinky' Turner from the Cockney Rejects.
