Nottingham Forest vs Leeds United final injury news as fresh blows leave 5 out and 4 doubts but …

Final team news has been delivered for Leeds United’s massive Sunday afternoon clash at Premier League hosts Nottingham Forest - for which fresh blows have left four men doubtful and five out.

Fifth-bottom Leeds and second-bottom Forest will lock horns in a 2pm kick-off at the City Ground on Sunday, ahead of which the two teams have had very different preparations.

Daniel Farke’s Whites have had a free mid-week on the back of last Saturday’s very disappointing 3-0 defeat at Brighton whereas Forest had a midweek trip to Austria to contend with as they took on Sturm Graz in the Europa League.

Boss Sean Dyche made seven changes to his team who left Graz with a goalless draw, after which the Forest boss held his pre-Leeds press conference and provided fresh team news.

Farke then held his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, at which the Whites boss revealed details of fresh blows.

A Leeds player himself then delivered an update of sorts and with final team news now provided, here we run through the injuries from both camps with four men doubtful and five out but a Whites attacker now back.

A fresh doubt and a big one, Farke revealing at Friday’s pre-Forest press conference that Calvert-Lewin faced a race against time to feature this weekend due to an adductor injury. Farke said that Calvert-Lewin was “doing his rehab, progressing well but is not in team training yet” as he added that Leeds still had a couple more days but wouldn’t take any risks. Around half an hour after the press conference had finished, Calvert-Lewin took to social media platforms X and Instagram to post four photographs of himself training - two with teammates in the background - together with a running emoji.

A fresh Forest blow, England-capped winger Hudson-Odoi sustaining an injury in the closing stages of Saturday's draw against Manchester United and taken off in the 90th minute. Hudson-Odoi was then ruled out of the midweek Europa League clash in Austria and Dyche said at his pre-Leeds press conference that it was "improbable" that Hudson-Odoi would be back this weekend.

Another big one for Forest, especially against his former side. Reds striker Wood has missed his side's last three games with a knee injury and Dyche also put the forward in the "improbable" category to face Leeds at his pre-match press conference.

Another fresh blow for Forest and a big one with Brazilian international midfielder Luiz essentially now ruled out. Luiz was forced off in just the 14th minute of Saturday's draw against Manchester United with what appeared to be a hamstring injury. Speaking ahead of Thursday evening's Europa League clash at Sturm Graz, Dyche said: "Douglas Luiz is going to receive treatment. That is not likely to be a quick situation; we are waiting on more news."
