Leeds Utd: The next few games are going to be tough for Leeds Utd
Joe Rodon has refuted a Leeds United change suggestion with a Nottingham Forest warning and Whites must.
Joe Rodon says it will be business as usual for Leeds United at Nottingham Forest but with a European warning and “most important” must.
Rodon concurs, highlighting the quality that Forest possess and qualification for the 2025-26 Europa League “for a reason” via last season’s seventh-placed finish.
Rodon, though, insists Leeds don’t need to be specifically changing their approach to Sunday’s contest, instead highlighting the most important step of being “mentally ready” as with every Premier League game.
“We don't need to look too deep into it”
Speaking to BBC Radio Leeds, Rodon was asked if Leeds would go into the weekend’s huge game in the same vein or whether they would change anything.
"No, we don't need to look too deep into it,” declared Rodon.
"They have got a team of great players, they are in Europe for a reason so it's going to be a very difficult game.
"The team just has to be physically and the most important thing mentally ready, not just this game but every game.
"There's 38 games, we are playing one game a week so all that matters is the game days and it's important that we have got to go out there and put on our best performances every weekend.
"This Sunday is obviously a huge game and we treat every game the same and we know it's going to be very difficult but it's one we are excited for and can't wait to do."
