Leeds United do not have a good track record at the City Ground as they prepare for an important Premier League meeting with Nottingham Forest.
The weight of history is stacked against Daniel Farke, as he looks to become the first Leeds United manager since Don Revie to win a top-flight game at the City Ground.
Although Leeds could be without Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Farke has a relatively injury-free list of players to pick from as they look to secure a crucial win.
While Leeds won their last home game against Forest in the Premier League in 2023, they have not won away against Forest since 2017, as they started the Championship season well under Thomas Christiansen.
Gjanni Alioski was the hero on that day, as he scored a screamer to help Leeds begin life without Chris Wood with a win.

Leeds United bounced back from Chris Wood sale with Nottingham Forest win
Chris Wood helped fire Leeds into play-off contention in the 2016/17 season, which attracted interest from Premier League sides.
Leeds beat Sunderland without Wood in early August of that season before he finally completed a move to Burnley on 21st August 2017.
However, Leeds did not suffer in the absence of Wood as they continued their unbeaten start to the 2017/18 season.

Kemar Roofe opened the scoring for the visitors, heading home after Forest failed to clear from a Pablo Hernandez free-kick, which was headed back into the box by Liam Cooper.
An Alioski screamer settled the game in the second half, as Leeds won the ball back from a crunching Kalvin Phillips tackle before the winger slammed home left-footed from 25 yards to spark jubilant celebrations in the away end.
That was Leeds’ first win at the City Ground since 2011. Farke will be hoping his side can pull off a similar result when they face Sean Dyche’s Forest side.

Chris Wood set to miss Leeds United reunion
Wood has been linked with a return to Leeds in recent weeks as Farke looks to bolster his options in attack in the January transfer window.
However, he looks set to miss out on a reunion with his former side when the teams meet in the Premier League, as Forest manage a growing injury list.
Speaking via the BBC ahead of the game, Forest manager Sean Dyche admitted that Wood was “improbable” to return to face the Whites, with the striker likely to return to action after the international break.
This is a boost to Leeds, who know exactly how dangerous Wood can be following his prolific spell at Elland Road.
