Regis Le Bris' tactics and selection call as Sunderland line-up vs Arsenal confirmed

With Omar Alderete still unavailable because of concussion issues, Le Bris has named the same starting XI that kicked off Monday night's draw with Everton.

Indeed, with Sunderland's substitutes remaining the same, the entire [Black Cats](http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/sunderland?ref=au) squad is unchanged from the Everton game.

That means Le Bris will continue to line up his side in a back five, with Lutsharel Geertruida once again playing alongside Nordi Mukiele and Dan Ballard at centre-half.

Granit Xhaka partners Noah Sadiki at the heart of midfield, with the Sunderland skipper taking on Arsenal, having made almost 300 senior appearances for the Gunners.

Wilson Isidor is once again selected to lead the line for the Black Cats, with Brian Brobbey and Eliezer Mayenda once again on the bench.

With Viktor Gyokeres unavailable, Mikel Merino starts up front for Arsenal, playing ahead of Eberechi Eze , Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard.

Riccardo Calafiori returns at left-back for the Gunners, with Martin Zubimendi back at the heart of midfield after missing Arsenal's midweek Champions League win over Slavia Prague through suspension.
