Everton returned to winning ways at the Hill Dickinson Stadium with three points against Fulham on Saturday.
Idrissa Gana Gueye’s goal provided Everton with the advantage just before half time.
David Moyes will have been desperate to put three points on the board following a run of three games without a victory.
The 62-year-old saw the points sealed when Michael Keane doubled Everton’s lead from a corner with around 10 minutes remaining.
Going into the game, Ben Foster admitted he was starting to worry about Everton as they began to quickly slide down the table.
Just one point separated the two sides going into the game on Saturday, but the Blues have risen to 11th following the full-time whistle.

Everton player ratings vs Fulham
Jordan Pickford – 7

James Garner – 8
After the game against Tottenham Hotspur, James Garner admitted Moyes wanted more from his right-back, Jake O’Brien.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Filling in for the Ireland international, it was a solid showing from the versatile midfielder, who is really proving his worth this season.
Everton News understands that Everton will look to advance contract talks with Garner over the international break.
James Tarkowski – 9
It looked as if James Tarkowski had replicated that goal against Liverpool, with another stunning volley inside the box.
However, the veteran defender saw his effort ruled out for offside for his earlier touch from the initial cross.
A constant threat in Fulham’s box and an absolute rock at the back.

Michael Keane – 8
Solid alongside his centre-back partner and cannoned home a wonderful header from a late corner.
Everton fans have been loving Keane this season and the decision to hand him a new deal has really paid off.
Vitaliy Mykolenko – 6
A quiet afternoon from the Ukraine international.
Tim Iroegbunam – 6
It was a decision that will have shocked a lot of Everton fans when they saw Tim Iroegbunam’s name on the team sheet.
A decent display from the Everton outcast, but was walking on thin ice with a second half yellow card.
Idrissa Gana Gueye – 8
Playing alongside his new midfield partner, Gueye finally opened the scoring for the Blues after two earlier goals were chalked off.
After a scramble inside the box, the Senegal international was there to poke the ball into the net.
Iliman Ndiaye – 7
Iliman Ndiaye was involved in all three of the disallowed goals, but his best moment came in his own box with a hugely important clearance to deny Kevin.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – 8
Dewsbury-Hall has said his best position is not as a number 10. Ironically, he started the game as the number 10 and it was a much-improved showing.
Had the ball in the back of the net, but eventually got his reward with an assist for the second goal of the game.

Jack Grealish – 6
In his programme notes, Moyes pinpointed how many times Jack Grealish had been fouled in recent weeks: a staggering 19 fouls in the last five games.
Grealish was fouled another three times against Fulham in what was a fairly quiet afternoon by his standards.
Not a bad performance but not his best.
Thierno Barry – 8
Moyes singled Barry out after the draw against Sunderland due to his glaring miss, but there were a lot of positives to take from his showing against Fulham.
Barry thought he had opened his account before seeing the flag raised for an offside against Ndiaye.
By no means perfect, but a lot better and fully deserving of his reception when replaced by Beto.

Merlin Rohl – 6
Merlin Rohl admitted the Premier League is played at such pace and that could be seen on Saturday.
The German wanted just a bit too much time on the ball.
Beto – N/A
Came on with around 10 minutes to play.
Jake O’Brien – N/A
Late substitute.
