Randi Martin, mother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, cheers on kids participating in the quarterback challenge during Field Fest on April 23, 2025, at City Stadium in Green Bay, Wis. The event was organized by the city of Green Bay and Greater Green Bay YMCA to celebrate NFL draft week.
The Instagram video featured a home tour highlighting sentimental family pieces. Three handcrafted wooden chairs from an East Texas artisan caught the most attention. Each chair commemorates one of Patrick’s Super Bowl wins in 2020, 2023 and 2024 while also representing one of her grandchildren.
“These chairs were handmade by a guy from East Texas,” Randiexplained in the video. “And these are one. I have three. So each grandkid has one.”
Then she dropped the comment that got fans buzzing. “That means more Super Bowls and more chairs. I’m ready. More grandkids,” Randi said with a smile.
She also displayed her arrowhead collection, which she had gathered with her father in Texas. The collection carries ironic significance since Patrick now plays at GEHA Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
Patrick hasn’t completely ruled out expanding his family, despite being content with his current three children. The 29-year-old addressed the topic during a press conference in January.
“My goal was always three. So we’ve had three,” Mahomessaid. “We’ll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on.”
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are parents to Sterling Skye, born in 2021, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, born in 2022, and Golden Raye, born in January 2025.
The Chiefs quarterback praised his growing family after Golden’s arrival. “It’s cool to welcome another baby girl in our family and see how our kids react to her,” Mahomes said. “Having baby sissy and stuff like that.”
He praised Brittany for keeping their household running smoothly and said he simply tries to support her in any way he can.
Patrick Mahomes’ Wife Brittany Sets Boundaries on Family Size
Brittany has indicated that three children feel right for now. “We’re done, we’re done for a while,” she toldWHOOP earlier this year. “I feel like you can never say you’re done, but I think three is all I need.”
The former professional soccer player stays busy beyond parenting duties. Brittany joined the NWSL advisory board in November 2025 as co-owner of the Kansas City Current. Her role focuses on promoting growth and leadership opportunities for women in the sports industry.
She remains active with the couple’s 15 and the Mahomies Foundation. The organization partnered with Food Allergy Research & Education after Brittany revealed that both Sterling and Bronze have food allergies. The partnership aims to improve awareness and safety programs nationwide.
“We are deeply grateful to Brittany and Patrick Mahomes and the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation for their incredible support,”FARE said in a statement. “Their leadership is making a lasting difference for families nationwide.”
Randi’s playful comment about more Super Bowls connects the family’s championships to their growing size. Each Super Bowl victory coincides with the birth of a new grandchild, creating a unique family tradition that is captured in those handcrafted chairs.
