Top clash: Chelsea vs Wolves
Chelsea take on Wolves in the Saturday evening offering of the Premier League. The Blues are out to right the wrongs of their disappointment against Qarabag in midweek, where they rescued a 2-2 draw in Azerbaijan in the Champions League. Enzo Maresca’s side beat Tottenham 1-0 in their last Premier League outing, with Joao Pedro ending his goal drought at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Now, the west Londoners are looking to jump back into the top four, but they will need to get past a Wolves side that are currently managerless. Vitor Pereira was sacked after the 3-2 home defeat by Burnley last time out. Reports claim that Middlesbrough boss Rob Edwards is in the frame to replace him, but tonight, they have under-21 coach James Collins and under-18 manager Richard Walker in the dugout.
The Black Country outfit are hoping to peel themselves off the bottom of the table in the coming weeks, where they have not won a single one of their 10 matches this term. They are eight points off safety, and six points adrift of Nottingham Forest in 19th. This should be a fascinating encounter. Stay up to date with all the action with our live blog below!
