Casemiro has described the 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur as a battle after three Manchester United players came off injured.
The midfielder was one of those, substituted at the same time as Harry Maguire came off midway through the second half. Matheus Cunha was also withdrawn, with Diogo Dalot coming off soon after as Ruben Amorim made his fifth and final change.
One of those substitutes, Benjamin Sesko, then went down mere minutes later and was unable to continue. He then had to hobble off the pitch and down the tunnel, reducing United to ten players for the remainder of the match in north London.
Sesko has yet to post on social media after the match, but both Casemiro and Maguire have. The latter said: "What a battle in London, lads!!"
Maguire also shared one of his own. "Frustrated we couldn't bring the 3 points back with us, but the lads showed spirit and fight till the end," it reads.
Amorim spoke about all three players after the match. "When we have to take out Maguire and Casemiro at the same time, then suffer two goals, then losing Ben, you have to overcome everything," the head coach said.
Then on Sesko, he said: "I'm concerned with an injury, because it is in the knee, and I don't know. We need Ben [Sesko] to be a better team. We have to check. He has something in his knee. Let's see."
