Seattle Seahawks Suddenly Rule Out $25 Million Defensive Lineman

Seattle Seahawks veteran defensive tackle Jarran Reed has been battling a wrist injury over the past two weeks. He was a full participant during this week’s practice and did not carry an official injury designation in Friday’s injury report. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse on Saturday regarding Reed’s status for Week 10 against the Arizona Cardinals.

A thumb injury was added to the injury report for Jarran Reed. According to John Boyle of the team’s website, the Seahawks have downgraded the $25 million defensive tackle to out for the game against the Arizona Cardinals. This will be the first game Reed has missed this season and only his second over the past three years.

Morris has played the fourth-most snaps at the position with 18%, while Pili has played the fifth-most at 12%. The former fifth-round pick has 12 tackles and one TFL and the former undrafted free agent has four tackles.
