Everton’s win over Fulham on Saturday saw plenty of exceptional individual performances, with one player really standing out to David Moyes.

It was the type of performance that Everton needed going into the final international break of the year.

Moyes may have started to feel some pressure coming from the outside as the Blues had picked up just one win since August before Saturday.

Everton News understands that the Friedkins were not considering Moyes’ Everton position despite the recent reports surrounding Brendan Rodgers.

Any noise over the matter will have been quashed after some seriously impressive showings on Merseyside.

Thierno Barry wowed the Everton fans inside the stadium, but Moyes singled out one other player who may have just silenced his critics.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall seriously impressed David Moyes in Everton win

Dewsbury-Hall admitted his best position is not as a number 10 and plenty have agreed with him during the week.

The midfielder retained his spot in behind the striker to face Fulham in a masterstroke of a decision from Moyes.

Speaking after the game, Moyes waxed lyrical about Dewsbury-Hall to the Everton media team.

“Kiernan was terrific today. I think he’s made such a difference to the team,” said Moyes.

Dewsbury-Hall slammed the performance against Sunderland during the week as he thanked the fans for their support on Wearside.

The 27-year-old certainly silenced any critics with a sublime showing against the Cottagers back on home soil.

Dewsbury-Hall shone in Everton victory against Fulham

Before playing them late last month, Thomas Frank was full of praise for Dewsbury-Hall saying he looked like a player reborn.

He was certainly at his best on Saturday afternoon as he asserted his spot in the starting XI as the number 10.

Ben Foster is a huge fan of Dewsbury-Hall, who will have thought he had netted his second Everton goal.

Frustratingly, the goal was ruled out for the third offside goal of the afternoon.
