Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United could have a chance to sign Kenan Yildiz, although Juventus remain confident of renewing his contract.
According to a report from Football Insider, Kenan Yildiz could end up parting ways with Juventus if the club fail to match his ambitions. While the Old Lady remain confident about securing his future with a new deal, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United sense an opportunity to sign the Turkish gem.
Yildiz has only gone from strength to strength since getting promoted to Juventus’ first team towards the end of 2023. Not only has he established himself as one of their mainstays, but he is also widely regarded as one of the best young forwards in the world.
The 20-year-old has been one of their standout performers this season with seven goal contributions in his 13 outings. While he has been deployed as an attacking midfielder on the majority of occasions, Yildiz prefers playing out wide on the flanks.
His versatility, consistent performances and massive potential have resulted in a lot of interest from across Europe. Juventus are aware of the growing interest, and they are looking to secure his future with a new and improved contract.
While they are confident about him penning a new deal, Yildiz could still end up parting ways with the club. He will only continue at the Turin-based club if they meet his ambitions. The 20-year-old wants to fight for important titles, and Champions League football is a must for him.
O’Rourke on Yildiz potentially leaving Juventus
While speaking about his future, O’Rourke said: “It’s no surprise that there won’t be any shortage of interest in Yildiz, one of the most highly regarded young players in Europe.
“Juventus are trying to do everything they can to keep hold of Yildiz. He’s under contract until 2029 but talks are ongoing about extending that and giving him fresh, improved terms as well.
“It’ll be more than Liverpool who’ll be interested. You’ve got Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United are all big admirers of the Turkish international.
“They are quite confident that he will sign new terms at Juventus to stay there. Juventus are quite optimistic that he will sign a new contract.
“But as I said, if Juventus don’t improve or become regular winners of competitions, and not show the ambition that Yildiz wants, there will be a load of Premier League clubs who will willing to temp him into a move to England.”
Premier League giants to battle for Yildiz
Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all keen on his services and could try to lure him away if Juventus fail to convince him to continue in Turin. Despite having spent a fortune to reinforce their attack in the summer, the Reds are still in the market for a new winger, and Yildiz is considered an ideal fit for their project.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are looking for an upgrade on the left flank, and the Juventus attacker can certainly help their cause. Chelsea are also keen on his signature and is a perfect fit for their project, which revolves around signing the best young players.
While Manchester United are still undergoing a rebuild, they feel that Yildiz could be the one who can help them return to their glory days. If they manage to secure Champions League football for next season, the Red Devils could also try to lure him away.
