On Friday night, the Golden State Warriors visited the Denver Nuggets. They were playing without Steph Curry, and, as a result, [they lost 129-104](/warriors-scores-results/104869/warriors-nuggets-recap-steph-curry-jamal-murray). It wasn’t pretty, it wasn’t fun, and it wasn’t particularly interesting.
But it’s always interesting to see how fans felt about the action as it unfolded. So here’s a look at the fan reactions in real time, as seen through the _Golden State of Mind_ [game thread](/warriors-game-previews/104854/how-to-watch-warriors-vs-nuggets#comments).
It was not a good start to the game. The Warriors were quickly down double-digits, and trailed 32-21 after the first quarter.
The second quarter started great, and then the Warriors promptly fell apart again, as the Nuggets took it to them. It was a 66-49 deficit at halftime.
There was better energy in the third quarter, but not better results. They trailed by a game-high 22 points going into the final fram.
Steve Kerr waved the white flag early in the fourth, as the Nuggets coasted to a blowout win.
