Chelsea took their time to get going but ended up running out dominant winners at Stamford Bridge against Wolves in the Premier League.
Enzo Maresca’s men have temporarily moved up to second in the league, after Malo Gusto, Joao Pedro and Pedro Neto found the net in the second half.
The Frenchman scored the first goal of his career when he opened the scoring, however it was the introduction of Estevao Willian in the second half which helped the Blues cruise home.
Despite frustration over no Josh Acheampong in the starting side, it was a very comfortable evening for the Chelsea defence too.
The Chelsea Chronicle have handed out their player ratings for the 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea player ratings vs Wolves
Robert Sanchez: 6/10
A clean sheet that came in routine fashion for Robert Sanchez. He didn’t need to make a save throughout the entire game.
Malo Gusto: 8/10
Malo Gusto’s first Chelsea goal was an important one as it came just as the Stamford Bridge crowd was beginning to let its frustration show.
Deputising for Reece James, the Frenchman stuck to his task when asked defensively, and continued to pop up in important positions in attack too, finally resulting in a goal.
Wesley Fofana: 6/10
Chelsea fans wanted Acheampong to start against Wolves, however will have been pleased to see Wesley Fofana marshall things well at the back at the same time.
Trevoh Chalobah: 7/10
Really strong performance from Trevoh Chalobah at the back, one that he needed after a few poor displays of late.
Marc Cucurella: 6/10
Marc Cucurella didn’t have a great deal of defending to do, and instead played a key role in keeping patient in the build up before they finally broke the deadlock.
Moises Caicedo: 6/10
Moises Caicedo was not at his best at Stamford Bridge this time out, especially with the high standards he has set himself this season.
A poor five minutes in particular in the second half saw him pick up a yellow card for his troubles.
Enzo Fernandez: 8/10
The only real creative force for Chelsea in the first half, Enzo Fernandez came close on a number of occasions as well as creating a glorious chance for Alejandro Garnacho which was not finished.
Pedro Neto: 7/10
A poor first half from Pedro Neto was quickly countered by an impressive start to the second 45 which broke the deadlock for Chelsea.
After moving to the middle in the second half, he was on hand to completely kill the game against his former side.

Joao Pedro: 7/10
It wasn’t Joao Pedro’s best performance, but it was his thumping finish which gave Chelsea the cushion they needed in the second half.
Alejandro Garnacho: 8/10
A bright start should have seen Alejandro Garnacho score his third goal in four games, but his finish was poor and he was denied by Sam Johnstone.
However, it was his cross that was given the nod of approval by Gusto to open the scoring, and his brilliant run and pass across that was converted by Neto.
Liam Delap: 4/10
Liam Delap looked a little off the pace as he made his first Premier League start since August, and was unable to win his battles against the Wolves backline.
It is going to take a while for the striker to get up to speed of things after seeing his first campaign at Stamford Bridge halted so far by injury.
Estevao Willian: 8/10
There is not much more that can be said about Estevao Willian’s talents, and it took him just over a minute to deliver an assist after coming onto the pitch.
The lift the Brazil international gives to the Stamford Bridge crowd should be reason enough for him to start games, but his talent is making the decision more difficult for Maresca every single week.
Reece James: N/A
Marc Guiu: N/A
Missed two absolute sitters after coming on the pitch.
Jamie Gittens: N/A
Andrey Santos: N/A
