Chelsea centre-back Axel Disasi (27) is set to leave the Blues during the winter transfer window, as revealed by Foot Mercato. The France international has been frozen out by Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca. Disasi is yet to play a single game with Chelsea’s senior team. The former Reims and AS Monaco centre-back returned to action this Saturday with Chelsea’s U21 Premier League 2 side against Reading.
The outlet understands that Disasi has no intention to stick around the fringes at Stamford Bridge whereas Chelsea does not intend to offer him a way back into the senior side. All parties are therefore adamant a January exit would be the best solution. It remains to be seen whether Disasi, a former AS Monaco target, would join a club or loan or leave Chelsea on a permanant basis.
