It took Estevao Willian just 68 seconds to make an impact off the bench when he came on during Chelsea’s win over Wolves in the Premier League.
The Blues were 1-0 up when Estevao was introduced to proceedings, and the Brazilian created an assist for Joao Pedro straight after entering the fray.
It has been clear that Enzo Maresca has been looking to protect the teenager as he continues to develop his game now he is playing in Europe.
Estevao rated highly in our player ratings for the win against Wolves, and was unlucky not to start the game. However, both Alejandro Garnacho and Pedro Neto starred after being given their chances.

Gary O’Neil believes Pedro Neto is holding Estevao Willian back at Chelsea
Former Wolves manager Gary O’Neil believes that the Brazil international is only struggling to start due to the quality of Neto in the same position as him on the pitch.
He said to Sky Sports: “The thing holding him back is that he’s got the best winger I’ve ever worked with in Pedro Neto in his position. But he’s a top talent. Estevao, I’m sure, will manage to find his way into the team, but I think it’s difficult on that right-hand-side.
“At his age, you can keep him happy giving him sub appearances. But at some point, he needs to be let off the leash.”
Maresca has been criticised for his treatment of Estevao, but after the large amount of games he has already played at this stage of his career, history may look kindly on the Italian’s decisions.

Chelsea players full of praise for Estevao
The 18-year-old’s instant impact at Stamford Bridge has not gone unnoticed by his teammates, who have been impressed with what they have seen so far.
Cole Palmer has singled out Estevao for praise, with Chelsea supporters still waiting for the duo to be given a proper chance to feature together for the club.
Andrey Santos said he loves playing alongside Estevao, and the duo will now both join up with the Brazil camp for the international break before the Blues return to action against Burnley.
