Chelsea claimed another three points in the Premier League after a 3-0 win over struggling Wolves.
The Blues won the game thanks to a first-ever Chelsea goal for Malo Gusto, A second goal in two Premier League games for Joao Pedro, and then Pedro Neto killing the game off against his old club.
The name that will be on a lot of fans’ lips though is Alejandro Garnacho, and perhaps in a vastly different way than he has been previously.
Many Chelsea fans had doubts over this signing when it was announced in the Summer, and perhaps rightly so.
From the behaviour issues to the inconsistent performances, there were lots of reasons to be apprehensive about the Argentinian’s arrival.
But as of late, Garnacho has been attempting to change the tide in the Blues faithful’s opinion of him.
The former Manchester United player grabbed two assists today, playing a massive role in Chelsea breaking Wolves down.
His first assist was particularly pleasing to see – a beautiful cross, which is an area that he’s needed to improve on, ended up finding the head of Malo Gusto for him to nod home.
We’ve heard reports that Garnacho has been staying later in training to practice his shooting and crossing, so to see that being put into practice both mid-week and against Wolves is a really good sign.
The second assist was him using his blistering pace to get past his man and square it to Neto for him to get a goal against his old club.

After his goals against Sunderland and Qarabag, there were signs of the impact Garnacho can have but we needed to see it in a game that made a difference for Chelsea, today was that.
If he can continue to keep his head up, keep working hard and improving then he will have no problem changing the fans’ opinions of him.
After the international break, Chelsea face a trip to Burnley which Garnacho will be looking to impact similarly to how he did today.
